Golf Leads By Eight Strokes After Day One at CSAC Championship

AVONDALE, Pa. - The Cabrini golf team owns an eight-stroke advantage heading into day two in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship hosted at Inniscrone Golf Course. Senior Chris Lawler leads the individiual standings after the first 18 holes, carding a 4-over par round of 74.
Lawler, the two-time defending CSAC individiual champion, shot 3-over and finished tied for first at Inniscrone in the Immaculata University Invitational on April 15. He leads Philadelphia Biblical University's Corey Snyder by three strokes going into day two on Sunday.
Junior Mike Ryan is in third place after shooting an 8-over par round of 78. Junior Ryan Muller ranks 10th following a 14-over par round of 84.
Sophomore Chris Sarvadi (+15) is tied for 11th and senior Brian Walsh, Jr., (+20) is tied for 25th.
Neumann University (+69) sits in second place behind the Cavaliers (+61). Keystone College (+71), Philadelphia Biblical (+79) and Immaculata University (+89) list third through fifth, respectively.
Cabrini is eyeing its third straight CSAC crown after hoisting the hardware in 2008 at Center Valley Country Club and in 2009 at Broad Run Golfer's Course.
