CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior forward Kevin Misevicius and freshman point guard Cory Lemons have been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region First Team All-Stars, the conference announced Wednesday. Lemons was also named the ECAC South Region Rookie of the Year.
Misevicius helped lead the Cavaliers to a school-record 25 overall victories and back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2001-02 season, recording a team-best 19.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. He shot 84.3 percent from the free throw line.
Misevicius became the 14th 1,000-point scorer in program history, completing his Cavalier tenure with 1,123 career points and listing ninth all-time. He finished his collegiate career overall with 2,095 points, including two seasons at Lehigh Carbon Community College.
Misevicius owns several program records, including single-game standards in points (45), field goals made (18) and free throws made (16). He has posted the top two single-season scoring performances in program history, tallying 580 points in 2008-09 and 543 points in 2009-10.
Misevicius received Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) First Team honors and was named the league’s player of the year. He earned ECAC South Region Second Team All-Star recognition last season.
Lemons handed out a team-high 5.4 assists per game and listed second on the team in scoring, averaging 15.3 points an outing. He shot better than 51 percent from the field overall and neary 80 percent from the charity stripe.
Lemons lists tied for fourth and 14th all-time on Cabrini’s single-season assists (150) and points (427) lists, respectively. He claimed CSAC First Team recognition and was also named the league’s rookie of the year.
Misevicius and Lemons are joined on the ECAC South Region First Team with DeSales University Darnell Braswell, Franklin & Marshall College’s James McNally and Grove City College’s Andy O’Keefe. Braswell was named the ECAC South Region Player of the Year.
