The Cavaliers are riding a season-best six-game win streak dating back to a 66-52 win against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Immaculata University at Madison Square Garden Jan. 23. After beginning the season with three straight losses against non-conference foes, Cabrini is currently 5-5 versus out-of-league opponents.

Senior point guard Deana DiAmico has been the Blue & White catalyst on the offensive end. DiAmico, named the CSAC Player of the Week earlier today, has scored in double figures in eight straight games and 11-of-12 overall.

During the Cavaliers’ six-game win streak, DiAmico is averaging a team-best 17.5 points per game. She scored the 1,000th point of her Cabrini career in a 70-50 win against Rutgers University – Camden Feb. 1.

Senior combo guard Alyssa Brady is averaging 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game over the last six games.  Brady is averaging a team-high and career-best 14.7 points per game this season.

Alvernia (11-7) is riding a four-game win streak and throttled Penn State – Schuylkill in its last outing, 72-32. The Crusaders host Eastern University Feb. 18 in their last non-conference game of the season.

Junior forward Alex Velazquez leads the Alvernia offense in scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game. Velazquez scored a game-high 17 points against PSU – Schuylkill. Junior guard Kelli McIntyre (14.0) and sophomore center Angela Altemose (13.1) round out the Crusaders’ double digit performers.
