Men's Basketball Rebounds With 79-50 Win Against Baptist Bible College

RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini men’s basketball team returned to the win column with a 79-50 win against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Baptist Bible College Monday night in Nerney Field House.  The Cavaliers knocked down a season-best 12 3-point field goals en route to the win.

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored 11 points on 4-for-8 shooting  overall in just 18 minutes played. Misevicius shot 3-for-6 from long range. He is now just 46 points shy of the 1,000-point scoring milestone.

Freshman point guard A.J. Williams matched a career high with 11 points, shooting 4-for-8 from the floor. Williams drained 3-of-5 3-point attempts.

Sophomore shooting guard Greg Zabel added 11 points in 14 minutes played off the bench. Zabel shot 4-for-6 overall and 3-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc.

The Cavaliers’ offense boasted 11 players with at least two points. Cabrini shot 50.0 percent from the field for the game for the fourth time in 2009-10.

Freshman point guard Cory Lemons chipped in eight points. Senior forward Chris Blake and freshman center Goran Dulac each scored seven points. Junior forward Dom Farrello and sophomore forward Brandon Carter tallied six points apiece.

The Blue & White shot 52.8 percent from the floor overall in the first half and led by 22 points, 49-27 at the intermission. Cabrini led by as much as 29 points with 1:57 remaining in the second half.

Junior guard Nathan Greve and junior guard Tommy Waszaj each scored 14 points as Baptist Bible dropped its eighth straight game. Junior forward Seth Bernard also reached double figures with 10 points.

The win improves the Cavaliers’ record to a perfect 8-0 at home this season. Over the last two years under head coach Marcus Kahn, the Blue & White is boasting a 24-2 on the Nerney Field House hardwood.

Cabrini (17-2, 11-1) travels to CSAC opponent Rosemont College Thursday, Feb. 4. Game time against the Ravens is set for 8 p.m.
