LANCASTER, Pa. –
The Cabrini men’s basketball team improved its record on the road to 6-1 in the 2009-10 season with a commanding 92-74 win at non-conference foe Lancaster Bible College Wednesday night. Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a game-high 27 points for the Cavaliers in the win.

Misevicius shot 10-for-19 overall from the field and 5-for-11 from beyond the 3-point arc. He also grabbed six rebounds and swiped five steals.

Misevicius, who scored a program-record 45 points in a 93-85 win Monday versus Keystone College, has reached double figures 38 times in 40 career games at Cabrini, including a current streak of 24 straight contests. Misevicius has scored at least 20 points in 21 games dating back to the start of last season.

Freshman point guard Cory Lemons tallied a career-high 18 points, on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, and dropped eight assists. Lemons has scored in double figures in four straight games and dished at least eight helpers in four of the last five outings.

Junior forward Dom Farrello scored 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting overall. Freshman combo guard A.J. Williams, making his third start in four games chipped in eight points on 4-for-7 shooting.

Sophomore forward Dan Robinson made his Cabrini debut against the Chargers, adding seven points, on 3-for-4 shooting, in 19 minutes played off the bench. Robinson, a Ridley, Pa., native, is a mid-season transfer from Division II East Stroudsburg University.

The Cavaliers owned an eight-point advantage, 27-19, with 10:25 left in the first half. The Blue & White sprinted to the locker room with a 20-point cushion, 54-34, shooting a season-high 64.7 percent from the floor overall.

Misevicius powered Cabrini in first half, scoring 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting. The Cavaliers out-scored LBC, 15-3, in bench points in the opening period.

Cabrini led by as much as 27 points, 63-36, at the 17:23 mark of the second half after a Misevicius lay-in. Lancaster Bible pulled to within 16 points, 65-49, less than three minutes following, but could not come any closer.

Junior guard Kevin Keltner totaled a team-high 22 points for the Chargers in the loss. Sophomore guard Madison Warfel (18) and senior forward Carl Edwards (12) also reached double digits.

The Chargers struggled to keep pace with the hot-shooting Cavaliers in the first half, shooting 42.4 percent. However, Lancaster Bible closed out the game shooting 60.9 percent from the floor in the second frame.

Cabrini (9-1, 4-0) continues its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schedule at home against rival Gwynedd-Mercy College Monday, Jan. 11 at approximately 8 p.m., following the women’s game. The Cavaliers last met the Griffins in the 2009 conference title tilt. Cabrini is 4-0 in the CSAC for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
