Men’s Basketball (7-1, 3-0)
The Cabrini men’s basketball team resumes its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) regular season schedule and will play its first game since Dec. 18 at Keystone College tonight. Game time against the unbeaten Giants is set for 7 p.m.

Women’s Basketball (4-5, 2-0)
The Cabrini women’s basketball team split two games at the Juniata College Tournament. The Cavaliers dropped a 76-64 decision against Manhattanville College Jan. 2 and emerged victorious in a 60-45 contest versus St. Mary’s (Md.) College Jan. 3. Senior combo guard Alyssa Brady averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game en route to all-tournament team honors. Sophomore forward Kara Hinkelmon scored a career-high 15 points against the Seahawks. The Cavaliers are back in action Wednesday, Jan. 6 at DeSales University at 7 p.m.

Men/Women’s Swimming
The Cabrini men and women’s swimming teams host their final home meet of the 2009-10 regular season Sunday, Jan. 10 versus Ocean County College. The competition will be the Cavaliers’ first in nearly one month. Cabrini last swam in an exhibition meet Dec. 17 against Drexel University and Olivet College in Islamorado, Fla.

Athlete of the Week
Kevin Misevicius
Basketball (Men)

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavaliers’ NCAA Tournament First Round loss against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College at Albright College’s George C. Bollman Center.

Misevicius shot 8-for-17 from the field overall and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts. He also grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals. Misevicius reached the 20-point pleateau for the 30th time in two seasons at Cabrini.

Misevicius concludes his Cavaliers’ career listing ninth all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,123 points. He ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (73) and seventh in steals (155).

Misevicius is the only player in program history to twice eclipse the 500-point barrier in a single season. He also owns the team’s second and third best single-season steals performances, swiping 84 in 2008-09 and 71 in 2009-10.
