PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Cabrini men's basketball head coach Marcus Kahn spoke with KYW 1060's Matt Leon this morning about his team's success thus far in 2009-10. Click here to listen to the KYW 1060 podcast.

The Cavaliers are 16-1 overall and riding a 10-game win streak. Cabrini sits atop the standings of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) with a perfect 9-0 record. The Blue & White returns to action at CSAC foe Centenary College Saturday, Jan. 30 at 3 p.m.

Kevin Misevicius
Basketball (Men)

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavaliers’ NCAA Tournament First Round loss against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College at Albright College’s George C. Bollman Center.

Misevicius shot 8-for-17 from the field overall and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts. He also grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals. Misevicius reached the 20-point pleateau for the 30th time in two seasons at Cabrini.

Misevicius concludes his Cavaliers’ career listing ninth all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,123 points. He ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (73) and seventh in steals (155).

Misevicius is the only player in program history to twice eclipse the 500-point barrier in a single season. He also owns the team’s second and third best single-season steals performances, swiping 84 in 2008-09 and 71 in 2009-10.
