CSAC Announces Spring 2009 All-Academic Team

ASTON, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced its Spring 2009 Academic All-Conference performers, a list that includes 60 Cabrini College student-athletes. The conference honors each student-athlete that meets the NCAA Division III eligibility requirements, earns varsity status in his or her respective sport and posts a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2.
“It is my pleasure to announce that 430 CSAC student-athletes have achieved the level of academic success needed to be named to the Spring 2009 CSAC All-Academic Team,” said CSAC Commissioner Amy Friedman. “These student-athletes have assumed leadership roles on their campuses by demonstrating that a complete education includes both academics and athletics.”
The CSAC Spring Academic All-Conference team consists of men and women’s basketball, golf, men and women’s lacrosse, softball and men’s tennis. Of the 60 Cabrini student-athletes honored, 15 received all-conference honors in 2008-09, including 10 first-team selections.
