Third Annual Cavalier Lacrosse School Packs Cabrini
The third annual Cavalier Lacrosse Camp attracted nearly 100 boys and girls, grades 3rd through 9th, to Cabrini.

RADNOR, Pa. - Nearly 100 girls and boys, grades 3rd through 9th, packed Edith Robb Dixon Field on the Cabrini campus June 22nd to the 25th for the third annual Cavalier Lacrosse Camps hosted by head coaches Jackie Neary and Steve Colfer.

Each camp included offensive and defensive stations, guest speakers, agility training, individual and team competition, as well as full-field team play. Both staffs consisted of area college and high school coaches, as well as current members of the Cabrini men and women’s lacrosse teams.

The girls’ camp started each day at 9 a.m. and concluded at 3 p.m. Neary’s staff included three-time All-American, former Penn assistant coach, former U.S. Team member and current Haverford College head coach Julie Shaner Young, Cabrini assistant coach Julie Smith, former Cabrini player Kate Penrose, current Cabrini player Jamie O’Hanlon, Philadelphia University player Michelle O’Hanlon, and Cabrini women’s basketball head coach and former women’s lacrosse player at Scranton Kate Pearson.

The boys’ camp went from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Colfer’s staff included Cabrini assistant coach Brian Felice, former Cavaliers player Matt Campbell and current member of the Blue & White Mike Gurenlian.

Kevin Misevicius
Basketball (Men)

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavaliers’ NCAA Tournament First Round loss against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College at Albright College’s George C. Bollman Center.

Misevicius shot 8-for-17 from the field overall and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts. He also grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals. Misevicius reached the 20-point pleateau for the 30th time in two seasons at Cabrini.

Misevicius concludes his Cavaliers’ career listing ninth all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,123 points. He ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (73) and seventh in steals (155).

Misevicius is the only player in program history to twice eclipse the 500-point barrier in a single season. He also owns the team’s second and third best single-season steals performances, swiping 84 in 2008-09 and 71 in 2009-10.
