View 2009 USILA Scholar All-Americans
PERRY, N.Y. – Senior Scott Reimer has been named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-American. Reimer becomes the first Cabrini men’s lacrosse player all-time to receive the national distinction.
Reimer tallied a program-record 69 goals in 2009 and repeated as a USILA Honorable Mention All-America selection. He finished the season listed second nationally among all Division III players with 3.63 goals per game.
Reimer became the program’s all-time leader in career points against Marywood University April 25. He also holds the program record for career goals. Reimer finishes his career with 256 points and 233 goals.
Reimer was named a Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area honoree in 2006-07 and was tabbed the PhillyLacrosse.com Scholar-Athlete of the Week April 28, 2009. He is a three-time CSAC Academic All-Conference selection. Reimer completed his undergraduate degree in human resource management and graduated May 17.
In 1989, the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.
