CHESAPEAKE BAY, Md. –
Junior attacks Amanda Alexandrowicz and Erin Nollen have received Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Metro Region Second Team honors, the organization announced Thursday. The duo combined to record 144 points on 108 goals and 36 assists in 17 games.

Alexandrowicz led the Cavaliers’ offense with 55 goals and listed second on the squad with 64 points. She was one of four members of the Blue & White to earn Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) First Team accolades.

Through three seasons at Cabrini, Alexandrowicz has totaled 175 points on 146 goals and 29 assists in 52 games.

Nollen powered the Blue & White offense with a team-best 80 points on 53 goals and a career-high 27 assists. Nollen, also a CSAC First Team selection, was a Metro Region Second Team honoree in 2008, recording a career-best 82 points on 67 scores and 15 helpers.

Nollen has registered 221 career points on 172 goals and 49 assists in 55 games with the Cavaliers.

Alexandrowicz and Nollen are just two of 224 student-athletes at the Division III level to receive all-region recognition. All selections are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American teams, to be announced Friday, May 22.

Cabrini (12-5) returned to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history, including the first trip since the 2005 season, after winning the CSAC title against Gwynedd-Mercy College. The Cavaliers have won nine CSAC championships since the 1998 campaign.
