Cavalier Recap: April 27
The Cabrini softball team claimed the No. 4 seed in the CSAC Tournament and will host Immaculata University Wednesday.

RADNOR, Pa. - The Cavalier Recap will appear on CabriniAthletics.com weekly, retelling the tales of the week that was in Cabrini Athletics. Today's recap details the week of Monday, April 20 to Sunday, April 26.

Golf
The Cabrini golf team captured its second straight Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) title, topping second-place finishing Keystone College by 19 shots at Broad Run Golfer's Club. Junior Chris Lawler finished first overall, shooting a 1-over round of 73 on day two Sunday. Lawler finished four shots over par for the tournament.

Men’s Lacrosse (12-3, 6-0)
The Cabrini men’s lacrosse team wrapped up its ninth straight undefeated Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) regular season with a 23-4 win against Marywood University April 25. Senior attackman Scott Reimer became the Cavaliers’ all-time leader in career points with six points against the Pacers. Junior attackman Casey Grugan added six points on three goals and three assists, eclipsing the program’s single-season mark for points. Top-seeded Cabrini hosts fourth-seeded Gwynedd-Mercy College April 29 in the semifinal round of the CSAC Tournament.

Women’s Lacrosse (10-4, 6-1)
The Cabrini women’s lacrosse team opens its postseason run Wednesday, April 29 against Neumann College in the CSAC semifinal round. The Cavaliers captured eight consecutive conference titles from 1998-2005, qualifying for five straight NCAA Tournaments beginning in 2001.

Softball (16-18, 14-8)
The Cabrini softball team concluded the regular season on a six-game win streak, nabbing the No. 4 seed and a quarterfinal home game in the CSAC Tournament. The Cavaliers rallied from a four-run deficit in the last three innings to complete a two-game sweep of Keystone College April 25. The Blue & White also took care of Cedar Crest College and the College of Notre Dame in two games.

Men's Tennis
Five out of six Cabrini men's tennis players have advanced to the finals round of singles competition at the CSAC Individual Championships. Senior Justin Walsh keyed the Cavaliers' surge to the second day in the No. 2 position.

Men/Women's Track & Field
The Cabrini men and women’s outdoor track & field teams competed in the 115th running of the historic Penn Relays at Franklin Field. The Cavalier women’s 4x400m relay team claimed the school’s first plaque at the Penn Relays, finishing first with a time of 4:01.10. The Cabrini women’s sprint medley relay team shattered the school record by 10 seconds with a time of 4:10.40 in the Championship of America heat.

Athlete of the Week
Kevin Misevicius
Basketball (Men)

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavaliers’ NCAA Tournament First Round loss against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College at Albright College’s George C. Bollman Center.

Misevicius shot 8-for-17 from the field overall and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts. He also grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals. Misevicius reached the 20-point pleateau for the 30th time in two seasons at Cabrini.

Misevicius concludes his Cavaliers’ career listing ninth all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,123 points. He ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (73) and seventh in steals (155).

Misevicius is the only player in program history to twice eclipse the 500-point barrier in a single season. He also owns the team’s second and third best single-season steals performances, swiping 84 in 2008-09 and 71 in 2009-10.
