Golf Concludes Fall Schedule with Runner-Up Showing at Swarthmore College Invitational
Senior Chris Lawler finished second overall in a field of 72 golfers at the Swarthmore College Invitational Monday.

Wilmington, Del. - The Cabrini golf team concluded its 2009 fall schedule Monday in the Swarthmore College Invitational at Rock Manor Golf Course. The Cavaliers finished second in the team standings as senior Chris Lawler listed second overall in a field of 72 golfers.

Lawler carded a 5-over round of 76, shooting five shots behind individual champion Josh Feldschneider (E) from Rutgers University - Camden. Sophomore Chris Sarvadi (+7) ranked tied for fifth.

Junior Mike Ryan (+12), Brian Walsh (+14) and Ryan Miller (+16) rounded out the Blue & White's five-man rotation.

Rutgers - Camden (+28) earned the team title, shooting 10 shots better than the Cavaliers (+38). Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) team Neumann University (+48) and host Swarthmore (+48) tied for third place. Muhlenberg College (+51) finished fifth.

Basketball (Men)

Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavaliers’ NCAA Tournament First Round loss against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College at Albright College’s George C. Bollman Center.

Misevicius shot 8-for-17 from the field overall and knocked down 4-of-8 3-point attempts. He also grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals. Misevicius reached the 20-point pleateau for the 30th time in two seasons at Cabrini.

Misevicius concludes his Cavaliers’ career listing ninth all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,123 points. He ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (73) and seventh in steals (155).

Misevicius is the only player in program history to twice eclipse the 500-point barrier in a single season. He also owns the team’s second and third best single-season steals performances, swiping 84 in 2008-09 and 71 in 2009-10.
