The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has honored 55 Cabrini student-athletes for the Fall 2009 semester as all-academic performers, the league announced today. The conference recognizes each student-athlete that meets the NCAA Division III eligibility requirements, earns varsity status in his or her respective sport and posts a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 for the semester.

As a result of the Fall 2009 seasons, Cabrini ranks tied for 43rd nationally in the latest release of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) 2009-10 Division III Learfield Sports Director’s Cup standings. The Cavaliers advanced four teams in the 2009 NCAA Tournament in November.

The seven Cabrini fall athletic programs have been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sunday, November 2 to Monday, November 8. The Cavaliers wrapped up their Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) seasons in dominating fashion, winning four conference titles and placing three cross country runners in the top 10 at the league's Fall Festival hosted by Immaculata University.

Basketball (Women)
Senior combo guard Alyssa Brady has received the weekly honors four times in 2009-10, including two consecutive weeks.
Brady led the Cabrini women’s basketball team to three wins last week, including two against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponents. The Cavaliers topped non-conference foe Montclair State University (65-54), before knocking off league foes Cedar Crest College (77-53) and Centenary College (68-64).
Brady recorded her third and fourth double-doubles of the season in the wins against Montclair and Centenary. She tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds versus the Red Hawks, and 22 points and 12 boards versus the Cyclones.
Brady shot 59.5 percent from the floor overall in the three games. She averaged 19.0 points and 10.rebounds per game for the week.
Brady leads the Cavaliers in points per game (15.1), rebounds per game (8.2) and field goal percentage (.455). She was named the CSAC Player of the Week for the third time this season Monday.
