The fourth-seeded Cabrini women’s basketball team’s quest for a third consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) title was stopped short Tuesday night in Nerney Field House after Marissa DiStasio’s lay-in with three seconds remaining propelled fifth-seeded Centenary College to a 67-66 quarterfinal round victory.

Senior point guard Deana DiAmico has been named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Honor Roll and tabbed the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week. In two games last week, DiAmico averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and four assists, while shooting 57.9 percent from the field overall.

Seniors Alyssa Brady and Deana DiAmico have been named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) First Team, the league announced earlier today. Brady and DiAmico rank first and second on the Cabrini women’s basketball team in scoring, respectively, averaging a combined 28.9 points per game.

The Cabrini women’s basketball team concluded its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) regular season on a high note and got a much-needed momentum victory heading into the postseason, topping South Division-leading Neumann University, 73-68. The Cavaliers shot a season-best 54.9 percent from the field overall versus the Knights in the victory.
